What is Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE)?

Competitive integrated employment (CIE) means having a job in a community setting where people with and without disabilities work together. In these jobs, everyone gets paid at least the minimum wage and receives similar benefits, chances to get promoted, and fair treatment. CIE ensures that individuals with disabilities have the same opportunities as others in the workforce. To learn more about CIE, watch the 2 minute informative video on Competitive Integrated Employment: Empowering Inclusive Workplaces.
